Happy Tuesday Wholetonians,
I am writing you after returning from our amazing “Wholetones Live” event in Minneapolis, Minnesota. I can’t begin to explain what took place on Friday night. People came from Manitoba, Canada; North and South Dakota; Kansas City; Idaho; Florida; and of course, the great state of Minnesota!
In time, you will be seeing some incredible video testimonies from the event that will blow your mind. My dear friend Sundui and I played live for about 2 hours, and many were shocked to find out that I sing! The Wholetones team worked so hard, slept little, and made this event one that everyone in attendance will never forget.
I want to thank everyone who came, prayed, and supported us. I LOVED meeting so many Wholetonians in person, face to face, and was blown away as I listened to their personal accounts of how Wholetones has been a game changer for them and their families.
Although this will be the last live event of 2019, we are already looking at a couple of cities to visit in 2020! Where would you like us to go next????
And speaking of where we go next…tonight is Rosh Hashanah, the Hebrew New Year (5780). In the U.S., we celebrate the New Year on January 1st, but in Israel, tonight is the head of the year–a new beginning, a fresh start. One of the significant characteristics of the year 5780 is… the mouth (or voice) and the importance of speaking wisdom or life giving words! So this week's musing is quite appropriate: “Speaking Life.”
We all know that everything is frequency: every thought, every word, and every intention. And the power of life and death, cursing or blessing, originates in our mouth as words are formed and released.
Luke 6:45 New International Version (NIV)
45) “A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.”
Ephesians 4:29 New International Version (NIV)
29) “Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.”
Proverbs 15:4 New International Version (NIV)
“The soothing tongue is a tree of life,
but a perverse tongue crushes the spirit.”
When I was a little boy, I remember my Mom saying, “If you don’t have something kind to say to someone, don’t say anything at all.” Jesus changed the world by only speaking what he heard His Father saying, and only doing what He saw His father doing. Wisdom has a voice, and all of us should start speaking life to our friends, families, and everyone we come in contact with… and there is not a better time to start than right now!
There is such negativity being broadcast on television and social media. I can tell you from experience, the power of life resides in your tongue… so, start speaking life! If you shout at chaos, you actually expand it. If you speak peace to chaos, chaos diminishes. If you would have been present at our Wholetones Live event, you would have experienced first hand: the power behind life giving words.
Lets work together to change the world around us by loving one another, and only speaking life wherever we go… it works!!!
Until next time…
